This is intresting, Tender offer is now less than current stock price. VLSI Inc. (VLSI) 18 5/16: designer and manufacturer of custom and semi-custom integrated circuits amends shareholder rights agreement as board evaluates the unsolicited tender offer of Royal Philips Electronics for $17 per share; under amended shareholder rights plan, the rights are triggered upon the acquisition of 10% of VLSI's common stock, down from 20%;
