VERT makes revenues by selling *storefronts*, these are not banners, you can check them out firsthand by visiting their website..

those banner guards might hurt portals like Yahoo, Excite etc., in which case I would be more concerned of their valuations as they run into the billions and their sole avenue for revenues is advt.
