Now we know why Pete was so unwilling to discuss portals in August.
He must have been trying to figure out how to get around this Intuit agreement for all of the last six months. Why would Intuit make an exception for Yahoo?

How could the suit get resolved? I suppose CKFR needs to give Intuit something they need in exchange for them backing off on enforcing their portal exclusive. What could that be?

And why, why would Pete have given Intuit the portal exclusive in the first place? This seems so very unlike him. Did they give him no choice?
