Unisys and Lucent to partner on speech technolog BLUE BELL, Pa., March 8 (Reuters) - Information technology company Unisys Corp. (NYSE:UIS - news) said on Monday it forged a deal with Lucent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:LU - news), the world's largest maker of telecommunications equipment, to integrate the two companies' speech recognition technologies. Unisys said that the agreement allows Lucent to license Unisys Natural Language Speech Assistant (NLSA) tool suite. Lucent will integrate NLSA with its CentreVu Response Solutions, a suite of tools that provides customer care services based on Integrated Voice Response (IVR) technology.
