Tech, Like you and many others have stated to me soo many times, You are an investor and stock appreciation is your main goal. With that in mind, which stock will give you your best stock appreciation MSFT or NOVL. NOVL's stock is up 157% in 1998 and is up 15% today. It is predicted conservatively to be over $30 by year-end. Can you honestly and confidently predict a stock at a valuation like MSFT's will appreciate at that speed? Specially when it is being plagued by Trials, delayed products, bad PR, and industry that has it out for MSFT, and Y2K. You are putting a lot of trust in a company that has a ton of threats upon it when you could be on a stock that could have made you and still make you some big money. But thats your choice. You can stay with your conservative growth and leave the big wins for the other stocks. Stop defending MSFT and look at your personal objectives. Just watch NOVL's stock today and in the weeks ahead. They have real great announcements coming out starting today with its new generation NDS v8 that will scale 100 fold larger than its current version. And Brainshare is just around the corner. This has always proved to be a stock bumper since they normally announce some new initiatives. But I would suggest that you hold on to MSFT and just watch NOVL, since you truely have fallen in love with the MSFT stock and dont know when to look around for other opportunities. Toy
