Deborah C. Hopkins, Boeing Co.'s new chief financial officer, will be paid at least $1.56 million, including a hiring-incentive payment and 1999 salary and bonus, according to the company. Ms. Hopkins, 44 years old, who left a senior post at General Motors Corp. to take the Boeing job as finance chief and senior vice president in December, was paid $750,000 as an hiring incentive, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing by the Seattle aerospace concern. Her 1999 base salary has been set at $450,000, and her minimum bonus for this year is $360,000. The amount excludes various other stock, bonus, benefit and incentive plans. (Wall Street Journal)
