Richard: We currently use e.schwab, but because of problems we have been having, similar to yours, and because their price is relatively high, we are planning on switching to another company. After some research, my husband is leaning toward Waterhouse. Do you or anyone else on this board have experience with Waterhouse or know someone who has and is either pleased or not with them? They have been rated highly and charge $12 per trade.
P.S. I had trouble getting an order placed through e.schwab earlier this morning. Last week, I had tried to buy BXM when it was around 55, but I couldn't get logged on to place the order for about 45 minutes. When I finally got on, the price had risen to 64. Pretty infuriating.
TIA Lisa
