I have a friend who swears by Waterhouse. However, everyone's mileage seems to vary with any given online brokerage. Don't forget.... there's even a Schwab investor, who occasionally posts to this thread, who claims that he can magically access the Schwab servers when Schwab itself acknowledges that they're down.
