A given home in the USA only has one cable line, and whoever owns the other end of that line is who you can get cable internet access from. If that is a partner of ATHM, or Time Warner, or whoever, all depends on where your house is. If AOL makes a deal w/ Time Warner, that only helps those people who live in an area w/ Time Warner cable access.
