From my notes: Service Provider market is $1 trillion, and the data networking space $167 billion. I don't know how the WSJ did its numbers nor do I know what the telecom market embraces in terms of breadth. For the purpose of NN's shareholders it's important to look at the WAN IP/ATM space first and the overall data networking space second. In NN's last cc call, ATM sales had increased 35-45% sequentially and when asked at the Robertson Stephens conference if that was an aberation, the president said it wasn't.
