Just a few thoughts, Kevin. . .I think that their plans will mostly backfire, as the 80 million American investors voice their disapproval. When original trading methods were adopted, individual investors had no say, and barely got any word of changes. . .but with the internet and instant access to whatever. . .it will be far harder to pull the wool over the sheep's eyes.

We individual investors will bombard D.C. with complaints, if we see something that is too far out of line. I honestly think that the fat cat Wall Street executives have greatly underestimated the voice that individual investors have found here on the net. . .and that they will continue to underestimate this.

The bottom line is that many new trading floors are developing online and NYSE and Nasdaq are having to do fancy footwork to stay competitive. If they were to bury their heads in the sand, they would simply lose the battle and allow a third MAJOR player into the market. . .if that were to happen and it was more appealing to online investors, then EVERYTHING would change to favor the individual investors and there would be little that the bigger boards could do to catch up. They know this is a vulnerable time. . . and that is why they are eager to explore alternatives. . .it is inevitable. Change is coming.

We all need to stay on top of these developments and continue exploring the newer trading companies for advantages. . .if we continue in our demands, we may actually win. If we turn a blind eye we will surely lose.
