Scott Perry;

To look leaner and meaner? Doesn't that include getting rid of non performing operations and unnessary employees? The Scottish plant was the only one in Scotland that I know of. It made chips and could not be sold. No payback for closing a plant except tax losses . Their investments in the far east may come under this charge but I doubt it. They ususally announce new or additional investments as separate items. I'm just guessing too but I believe it's all related to that plant. We'll have to see the annual report. I hope this is the last big charge back. As Stitch said, new management usually does this in its first year so the losses can be blamed on old management's policies. Figure, 18-19 cents per share. If they earn .45, the consensus, it won't be too bad.
