Thanks for trying--but after another couple of wasted hours, all I have managed to get is a different error message--in "charts" I now get "Failure loading security" when I try to open a chart WOW lists as being there. I had been trying to open under "securities/import" vs. "charts" and same result-different error message. 'Bout ready to throw this WOW into the trash bin! I'm sure I'm repeating the same mistake, but I cant see it--I think I'm doing exactly what is said in the MS export instructions--exporting 1 stock to keep it simple. Error has to be in the path I specify-- am using C:\ms\secdata and entering 1 symbol and clicking on "output now" There are no other options! When I go to WOW the symbol is there under securities and charts but cant access the chart. What am I doing wrong?? Thanks for trying again. I guess you've gotta keep it simpler!!
