Conventions like this are great places to pick up information on various aspects of exploration and mining so here is another tip. Make a list of info you want to get.
ie visit a couple of the drill companies and you can get info handouts on bit and drill sizes etc.
The geophysical companies have great handouts showing different type of geophysical surveys maps etc.
Assay companies have conversion tables.
Some company hand outs or annual reports have great details on exploration phases etc. Property maps etc.
As I say you can end up with a ton of handouts etc. but it can be a wealth of great info. They also usually have a book store of some sotrt for various books or reports on industry.
Also some discount brokers Greenline, action direct are there.
Government booths and countries often have CD rom data bases for sale. Also some free great maps so you can locate various properties and projects.
Hope you enjoy it.
regards Walt
