Sorta OT John, It's really hard to say. I would put myself as a former "early adopter" to an "early majority" consumer. I mean, I actually plunked down 2 grand for my first cell phone! That ought to tell you something. Anyway, what the market has taught me is don't chase new technology, because prices will fall and avoid transition technology like the plague. That's why I think the next six months could be dicey for boxmakers. I think the internet will be much more of a driver for new pc sales than ever, and as consumers realize what kind of memory and speed is necessary for the hugely memory intensive internet applications like video streaming, they may conclude that waiting 6 months might be a smart move. bp
