I read the posted information. I see no reason for L.P. to buy cleared timberland unless it was replanted with fast growing trees. If L.P. is out to buy timberland with timber on it, L.P could not drop Madera because of the License Madera has. Selling land at $120 per acre is cheap but there may be more money to be paid later on. I can not see Madera being a thorn in the side of L.P. business, where they would buy Madera out just to but them to bed. I see nothing to support this deal. Someone will have to put some money on the table to make this deal a Madera winner. It is to early to tell what is going on. You know how excited Madera gets, if money was on the table, Madera would have posted it.
