Cooperative effort -
Now, when stock is unavailable at Pershing or DLJ (rarely but does occur) we will shop around. I usually call MASH or MADF or SKLC but noone had any today. If you know of a firm that does, call me, we'll call them.
if you bear stearns has it, get me a name and Pershing will call for us. They all help each other out, so with a name at Bear Sterns we should be able to get it from them, Smith Barney etc.
