just got my e.sch software this week. LOVE IT. i had been using street smart(which is their normal commission software). the only difference between that and e.schwab is the commission....a big discount! and like the others have mentioned, you can get almost instantaneous confirmation by using the automated telephone system. i wouldn't trade with another company, PERIOD! if there are any discrepancies, they will pull "time and tape" from the exchange your order went to and this shows every trade and when it took place. i've even gotten fills on buys that were better than the current bid/ask(although only on market orders, which i use about 30% of the time) i've heard nothing but horror stories about the other firms....what good is a $19 or $14 trade if they are going to take an 1/8 or a 1/4? or even if they aren't skimming, do they have the capacity to service all their customers in a market crisis????? regards, mike
