Re: Gold and small-caps

Since some of you have shown interest in gold and small caps today, here are two Canadian small caps that I follow closely:

GXR (Alberta) Goldtex Resorces - involved in gold exploration in Nevada and Yemen, run by Charles Fipke of Diamet fame, just recommended by European analyst. Currently trading at 8.25 (up 0.50 today). To understand this one, read the following posts and take a look at GXR's home page. Could double in the near term, especially if gold strengthens. Downside minimal in my opinion.

IHI (Vancouver) International Hi-Tech - proprietary building system, factory under construction, patents being secured around the world. Currently trading at 1.60. Share price expected to move much higher as factory comes on line this summer. Some info on SI thread, website read a must.

I believe both of these are trading near strong support and won't see much selling pressure in the near term. Okay, I've said my piece, now I'll crawl back under my rock.

Disclaimer: I own small positions in both these stocks and am only providing information so that others can investigate and make their own decisions.

Son of Disclaimer: I am not, nor have I ever been, Shawn Murphy.
