We have had record snowfall & rain on Left Coast this winter. Some floods coming this summer I suspect.

They finally got the Bow section of the Japanese freighter headed out to sea this morning. 3:am high tide. that's been on Or. coast since Feb. 4th. Tried first with a 4 1/2" nylon tow rope flown in from The Netherlands. It broke about 50 miles out. Back came the ship. Landed about 80 miles N. of original. Brought in a 10" nylon tow line from Calif. Seems to be working for now. Plans are to Have Coast Guard sink it 200 miles at sea with all the crude bunker oil left aboard.

Regards, /jw
