JDN, don't misunderstand me please, I am very biased. I hope that This didn't cloud my thinking when I read the book. The Lawsuit was mentioned in the first years annual report. It has never to my knowledge been mentioned in the following years report. I can only assume that it was either settled or thrown out. From what I have read and from my own due diligence, I discounted the suit as frivilous. One of the problems with the whole setup has been the total hatred of the Microvision management by the personnel of the HIT lab. It was their belief that Rutkowski and company would fail and they would get the technology back. They are very bitter at the phenomenal progress that has been made by the scientists at Microvision. There have been many breakthroughs in the basic technology that has kept Casey Tegreen (the patent attorney) very busy. Naturally these breakthroughs have not been shared with the lab and are the exclusive property of Microvision. Furness had a great Idea, he is a very innovative designer, but unfortunately he is a very poor businessman.
