The Dell bulls are not devoid of reason. They simply believe that the current situation is an anomaly in the longer term viability of their investment. Thus, they can argue that the slowdown in revenues was due to purchasers waiting for the PIII or that the channel stuffing by competitors was a contributing factor. The bears have their side, a different perspective and analysis.

Time may tell who was correct. In any event, I don't see the need for the disparaging remarks on both sides. DELL is a classic bull/bear stock right now with the battle being fought in the marketplace by real heavyweights. Our little discussions here won't move the stock one way or the other, no matter how hard we try.<g>
