Of course it's genetic. If it were not genetic, then we would not have as good an excuse as we do. I mean, you can't fight a biological imperative. I am quite certain that Neanderthal moms were just as aghast at Junior's filthy maintenance of his little corner of the cave as moms are to this very day.
