DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 8, 1999--SportsStar Marketing,
Inc., through its NCRA (National College Recruiting Association)
Division, ncrasports.com, announced today that they have
entered into a contract with Travelers Acceptance Corporation of
Carlsbad, California to provide consumer financing. This agreement
enables SportsStar to offer six or twelve month financing options to
its clients.
Established in 1972, Travelers Acceptance Corporation is a
leading full-service financial services company that provides an array
of services which include receivables financing, custom billing
services, portfolio servicing and payment plans throughout the United
States and Canada. Travelers currently has over $100 million in
purchased and serviced consumer receivables. "We are pleased to be
associated with SportsStar Marketing, Inc., because of the Company's
growth strategy and commitment to education," said Lee Hovis of
Travelers Acceptance Corporation.
According to SportsStar's President, Dr. Bill Kroske, "This
contract greatly expands our market. This financing opens our programs

SportsStar Marketing, Inc., through its NCRA (National College
Recruiting Association) affiliate, assists high school students to
find scholarships, merit awards and other forms of financial aid for
college. SportsStar is spearheaded by its Chairman of the Board, Mr.
William Grimes, the former President of ESPN and SportsStar's
President William Kroske, Ph.D., one of the original founders of
Century 21.
