Thanks for explaining the situation in China. What you say makes sense. The bottom line is that low-end chips, not the P3 will lead sales penetration in China.

My math on the connect charge was that:
4 Yuan is to 1000 Yuan a month as
8 dollars is to 2000 dollars a month

I'm sure you are correct about the inaccuracy in the average salary estimate and the higher disposable incomes relative to gross incomes in China, but the connect charges are still high enough to dampen internet demand, compared to the U.S.

Also, isn't widespread credit card usage a requirement for e-commerce? (or at least some kind of electronic debit system?)
