Mytec Announces New Product - Mytec® Gateway
Mytec Technologies Inc. (MYT:TSE) announced today the introduction of
a new physical access control product, Mytec® Gateway, the first stage of a planned new product and marketing strategy. Mytec Gateway, a
fingerprint verification access reader, is based on the same biometric
technology as Touchstone®, Mytec's solution in the network access
security market.
"We have incorporated Mytec's leading edge biometric reader technology
into a compact, easy to use physical access control reader. This reader is fully compatible with all major electronic physical access control systems," said Dennis Hollingshead, Mytec President & CEO.
To introduce and market the Mytec Gateway product, Mytec has signed
an agreement with Cansec Systems Inc. of Mississauga, Ontario, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of physical access control products and systems.
