As a perennial bottom picker, I have been wrong too many times in believing that "this rally" is the next real thing. I have seen in retrospect that I could have made a lot more money by trading what the market offers. I also have noticed that the lack of confidence in major bottoms must be shaken out of the by false gyrations at the bottom, which decrease then intensify as the bottom is formed.

I would be interested in knowing if my observations are consistent with EW thoery.....
