I am pleased to say that EAI has voluntarily recast their financials so that the controversy over their accounting for acquired R&D can be ended. Acquired R&D will be treated in a more conventional fashion. This should put to rest this issue, which, according to an November 16 article in Barron's was cited by an short seller as a reason to short the stock. In any case these accounting changes have no affect whatever on cash flow or company operations.

AS to the recent lawsuit, EAI stated on Feb 26:
"The complaint is completely without merit and the company intends to vigorously defend against these charges.

"Regretably, it is not uncommon for these kinds of lawsuits to be filed against high-growth companies with volatile stock prices. They tend to be initiated by a small group of law firms that specialize in such actions. These firms often earn considerable fees from pressuring companies and their insurance providers to settle such cases."
