Street,

Does the congress have the responsibility and duty to properly value currency?

Does that exclude their creation of a private entity, ACCOUNTABLE/REPORTABLE TO THE CONGRESS, from being created to more efficiently and objectively handle those duties??

I certainly haven't taken to time to review the old congressional debates that likely raged when the Federal Reserve Act was presented as a bill in the House/Senate, but I'm sure there were some constitutional scholars who tore the Act apart trying to find something that specifically forbade the creation of the FRB. I'm sure that NOT EVERY SINGLE DULY ELECTED LEGISLATOR voted to sell our nation to the global conspiracy.

And it was the congress that created the FRB, and were the issue of US sovereignty to become blatantly subverted, we have the right to petition congress to have the act rescinded.

That doesn't sound to me like some omnipotent, non-accountable behemoth under the control of the Gnomes of Zurich.

Regards,

Ron
