Pat: In the last Q, Telecom sales to Brazil, the largest Country in S.America were down. That Sales territory is looked after by Siemens.

NN's sales of eqpt thru Siemens in that market was down. This resulted in a steep drop in NN's share price. The slow down in S.America had far less impact on Siemens stock price.

As an investor Sales of data networking eqpt in so far as it affects share price is more critical to NN than to Siemens. That criticality is also evident when NN's sales are good. The share price of NN rises vis a vis Siemens.

That sensitivity leads me to conclude that Sales thru the Alliance affects NN's share price more than it does Siemens. Infact NN gets 20% of its total revenue thru the Alliance. The comparable figure for Siemens is much less. That is why it was important for NN to ensure that Siemens mentioned in todays release that the Alliance was alive and well.

Ofcourse one may conclude otherwise and one is fully entitled to that view.
