I enjoyed this:

The most important company in Western civilization, Dell (DELL), had its 2-for-1 stock split. In honor of this solemn occasion and due to the fact that I vented pretty heavily on Friday, I'll try to be brief today. Dell now is higher than it was the day when it announced that its revenue growth, contrary to expectations, had slowed from the 50 percent into the 35 percent region. Its P/E now is back closer to 100. All this for a maker of commodity goods - plastic wrapped around chips. Dell is a $120 billion company that has 9 percent market share of a $140 billion market.
