Mike,

Each exchange has diferent requirements in order to obtain a listing,ie. The BB is generally shell/start-up companies with little or no assets and limited shareholders.When a company reaches a specified share level,assets become larger and shareholders maintain a required level,etc.it is in the best interest of the co. to apply to the next level for better market access.
