I've fallen out of many a small cap tree.

A few weeks ago, I was jogging through a neigborhood park when something landed almost under my feet with a loud thud. It turned out to be a squirrel that had dropped out of a very tall tree. He was running like crazy even as he hit the ground and I had to jump in the air as he literally ran underneath me.

In this part of the country the local "weeds" are pines and oaks that grow in thick forests and seed themselves easily. Squirrels are the predominant wildlife. Squirrels have evolved over the eons to fall out of the tallest trees without injury. Some species can even glide.

I don't like to think of all the stuff that could have happened to me in 1996 by putting so much money into MUCP and then GRNO. MUCP could have gone belly up at one point right after I jumped into it. In the last year, I've lost most of the money I put into UTII, SNCG, and NIAR. The thing is, it's stocks like GRNO, RICA, and MUCP that made up for all my mistakes and then some.

I like the idea of keeping the GRNO crew together without cluttering up the GRNO thread. I think there is a lot of talent for due diligence there.
