You really must be new to the market. Stocks with this kind of dramatic volume increase on very good news that close strong generally open higher and show strength the next morning. The momentum doesn't just suddenly reverse overnight unless the market becomes terribly weak. There's no reason for VVUS to be an exception.

Gap down $2 ??? No way. VVUS will gap up and show continued strength in the morning unless the general market tanks.
