As an investor Sales of data networking eqpt in so far as it affects share price is more critical to NN than to Siemens. That criticality is also evident when NN's sales are good. The share price of NN rises vis a vis Siemens.



I'm not sure I'm reading that right, but I'll let it go for now.

What you fail to see is that Siemens is dependent on NN's 36170 and NN is not dependent on Siemens for anything nearly as critical. Yes, 20% of their sales come through Siemens, but it's not a strategic dependence. They could find a different sales channel more easily than Siemens could replace the 170. Sort of like selling boxer shorts without the elastic.
