"We didn't invest millions in our web site just to watch nameless, faceless individuals steal it for their own edification," said CEO Seymour Flemm. "Between Yahoo and Silicon Investor alone, we have targeted 87 people with serious copyright infractions and plan to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law." IQZ, a company specializing in internet advertising, recently wrote that chat board copyright infringement "diverts between $300-400 million in revenues from honest, hardworking internet content providers." ICQ suggests companies that feel wronged should not only sue the perpetrator, but the chat board itself and the ISP that hosts it. Warns CEO Flemm: "I wouldn't want to be the next person who gets caught copying one of our articles on a chat board.
