I was arguing about the concept of property rights...YOU were arguing about zoning laws. They are different. Conceptually, you can have zoning laws and still have property rights that are of paramount importance.
I think you need to push past the trees and look at the forest a bit.

Oh yeah, the property rights issue, at the theoretical and practical level, has pretty much been proven as the prime mover in ANY market economy. NOT a mixed economy, but MARKET economy. The US is NOT a market economy, despite our delusions that it is.
