Anthony, the IBM chip is dated the 24th week of 1998, probably shown for comparison. The "morterboard" design was cute but I'll bet I'd hate to think what happens when someone presses hard on the corners. The new design appears to be much more solid (similar to Intel's low-cost "organic"?) Craig
