Market magnets 3.9.99 notes Dow: Weekly hold still. A close friday in the 9800+ area will give me a buy signal. Looks good today as profit taking did little to no damage. If I had to speculate I would say we will see more attempts by the bears tomorrow to slow this advance down. They ought to give up around 1:00 and the rally toward 9965 utrend can begin. Nasdaq: Gapped out of its short term downtrend. Strong move. Weekly still hold will likely have to take out previous highs to get a buy rating on it. Mid term techs all turned up after today. Inuts taking a leadership role again today. SP500: If we close at this level or higher on Friday I will have a weekly buy signal triggered. Mid term techs all turned up. Looking a whole lot like mid June 98 only this time the 85 line is support instead of resistance. Day 2 of holding above 85 line.
