Gary,

Sorry on not answering your 5-07 post...did not catch it until tonight. Some brokers are able to obtain short position usually just afer they are posted on the 15th of month. Always printed in IBD and WSJ about 5 days later. See above post for short position March & April.

Sure be interesting as this stock continues to hit new highs after another short correction and rest. The percentage of float available is becoming critically low due to the believers of this stock holding long. I honestly think that the short position can only hope that some bad news comes from somewhere to allow them to cover. Possibility of a huge short squeeze if we continue much higher.

Just sent in proxy vote FOR 75,000 additional shares outstanding, to be voted on, end of May...I think it was the 23rd or 28th annual meeting date. (Believe to be available for a rumored 3-1 split) This
would bring the price to around 50. If the short position DOES remain at 2.9M it will equal around 8.7M shorted after split! Many that shorted have lost fortunes on PRST to date. Stay cautious. Like Iomga, large negative PE will attract the short position.

BEAM also was touted as the Stock of the Decade by Cabot a couple of years ago. Eventually the huge short position resulted in correcting BEAM from 47 to around 16 now. If they can hold out, they do seem to eventually find a way to make back some of their money.

By the way, are you short on PRST or long?

Neil
