I agree that the K7 will be a real threat.
The key is wether AMD can produce them.
IMHO they will be able to sell everyone they can make and prices should be reasonable.

I think that the consumer has spoken. They prefer the K6 to the Celery. And as the PIII 3d stuff gets out, it will help the K6 as it has its own version of 3d Support. IMHO the Celery will not be too successfull except for corprate users who want a cheap low end PC with Intel inside. In fact that's where the great majority of Celery's are going right now and not into home machines. Over time as the K6-III becomes the entry level machine in 0.18 micron it should rule the home space. I see 500-600Mhz 0.18 micron K-3 as being low end within 6-9 months with ASPs in the $100 range.
