Well today I went to down to one of the Dept or Agriculture... centers to pick up my Melissa , Summer Muscat, and one other...forget the name. These are JUST RELEASED vines from the DOA. They dont give you too many but if you graft them...you can have wood by next year and grow you inventory exponetially. It is not all that often that they come out with a REAL good variety...and anybody that gets in on a good variety early can do very well. I have a business associate who has 80 acres of raisen grapes and we are going to work together to get these going. He has the whole shabang including living quarters for the seasonal workers. The great thing about this wood --- if you know about the ag business --- is that these are royalty free. In other words...when you buy from a grower and reproduce you have to pay a royalty on every vine you reproduce...with these you can reproduce without any royalties. Maybe down the line have to start an LLp ... we'll see. I am having a hard time keeping off the threads during Lent...I am a very weak man. Lazarus
