Company Adds Nations' Largest Private Not-For-Profit Hospital and

Second Most Populous County to Growing List of Customers

Intelligent Medical Imaging, Inc. (Nasdaq:IMII) Monday announced that it has recently received two new purchase orders for a total of four MICRO21 Systems, the Company's intelligent, automated microscope system. Florida Hospital - the largest private, not-for-profit hospital in the country and the second largest hospital overall in Florida - and Cook County, Illinois - the second most populous county in the nation serving the city of Chicago and several suburban municipalities, each ordered two MICROS21 Systems from the Company. In addition, Florida Hospital purchased Intelligent Medical Imaging's automated blood slide maker, known as the HSM, to integrate into its new MICRO21 System in order to fully automate the blood slide making/review process.
