Ian, this is what happens to a company when they try and beat an industry giant like Intel on price alone. Anyone with half a brain could see it coming. Say goodby to AMD. The Pentium III is about to put them under. And I thought they would at least last till the Merced rollout. Their production engineering problems must be severe. They obviously do not have the talent to perform serious DFD. Intel just keeps bankrolling billions, while AMD and company struggle for survivability. In the past 4 trading days Intel probably made more money on their investment in Cnet than AMD has in the past 2 years. I guess we may see the disappearance of Jerry's Limo from Paul's profile as it gets repo'ed. Too bad, I kinda liked that photo. :-) Michael
