but think there is a market for $399 computers running Linux with Netscape and an $89 office suite.

What more does 90% of the population need? A browser and the ability to type a letter.

For that matter who uses an office suite anymore?

Give junior that Emachine running Linux for his room.

Who installs Windows? Build the Linux machines and they will come.
