Yes - long time Fred. My supervisor came up with this one and I helped out on the research. After careful checking, and the receipt of an investor's package, we bought (actually we bought before the investor's package arrived) and once we had perused that our positions were increased.

Conclusion? Get the package, look at what they have to offer, consider the CLEC opportunities it could offer to QWEST as well as the backbone they've layed down in 1/2 of the U.S., their cash level, etc. and it's fairly obvious that this could be a fairly safe and possibly very profitable investment.

For all I know it could fall back down again but I somehow don't think that it will.
