El: I don't know what the Yahoo average is right now.

In calculating this quarter's net EPS give full value to enhanced net earnings from the DEC acquisition. DEC only began to be accretive during the 4th quarter. (EP had always said that it would be accretive before the end of the 4th quarter). There are progressive cost-savings from lay-offs and other efficiencies, there are additional tax savings, and I would expect that there will be a net increase in sales of services. I would also expect that high-end servers and storage sales will have increased. CPQ sells more than PC's. Hopefully revenues from non-PC sales will pass the 50% mark soon, maybe next quarter, if not this.

You can add that GNP was higher than expected in January and will probably be higher for the quarter; Asia is picking up and European and international YK2 compliance is behind UK and USA.
