Thanks for your request for information regarding our trading position.
Campbell's latest surge in market/share value is due partly to the efforts
of the company's Investor Relations program. This program, implemented on
September of last year, had two objectives. One, to reduce market
volatility by controlling the supply side of the market. Until then,
Campbell had several shareholder with significant amount of stock in a
selling position. These shareholders, most of them creditors who received
stock in lieu of payment for services, were not too concerned about the
price of the stock they received and were willing to sell their position
at any price; consequently causing a price downfall. Volatility has been
reduced and the supply side is now under control. The second part of the
program is aimed at creating shareholder value, which is what we are
experiencing right now. We launched an aggressive promotion program aimed
at attracting new investor. This in turn has propelled the price of the
stock upwards. We expect this to continue.
