As sarcastic as the comment may be, I too believe, or at least have my doubts, about the true purpose behind buying Berkeley and at the price they paid. It definitely wasn't the best time to do it. They should have waited one or more qtr(s) to show the street they can execute a really profitable qtr. I have to add, that Fore's timing for the last two years has been miserable. Is it all bad timing or somebody's been getting richer with the deals? I guess we can all speculate till we drop to find the real answers here.
