Actually, that is precisely the position you are in now. And you're refusing to accept what so many people are willing to:
that the lack of a law preventing abortion IN NO WAY imfringes on YOUR rights as an individual.
Your argument rests solely on an unformed and unsubtantiated concept of "social ecology" that is likely to go the way of eugenics in the near future.
Since the US is a country founded on the basis of the right of the pursuit of happiness of the individual, your goal of imposing some kind of social requirements that are geared SOLELY toward YOUR happiness, at the expense of others, is a bit presumptuous, wouldn't you say?
